About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Non-Executive Director (NED) to join the Board of our leading hospitality group. The ideal candidate will bring strategic insight, sector expertise, and strong governance experience to help guide the business through a period of growth, transformation, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide independent guidance and challenge to the executive team and Board on strategy, growth, and operational performance.

  • Support the development and execution of business expansion, revenue growth, and brand strategy.

  • Ensure robust corporate governance, risk management, and compliance practices across the group.

  • Offer expertise on hospitality operations, customer experience, and market trends.

  • Advise on financial performance, capital allocation, and investment opportunities.

  • Contribute to Board committees as required, including audit, remuneration, or risk.

  • Act as an ambassador for the group with key stakeholders, investors, and partners.

Responsibilities

Skills & Experience

  • Extensive experience in hospitality, leisure, or retail sectors, ideally at Board or executive level.

  • Strong understanding of operational management, commercial strategy, and customer experience in hospitality.

  • Experience with multi-site operations, franchising, or international expansion is desirable.

  • Knowledge of corporate governance, risk oversight, and regulatory compliance.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

  • Previous Non-Executive Director or advisory board experience is advantageous

Time Commitment

  • Typically 4–6 Board meetings per year, with additional committee work and ad-hoc advisory sessions as required.

Remuneration

  • Competitive annual fee, commensurate with experience and expertise.
