As we expand our portfolio and enter new phases of growth, we are looking to strengthen our Board with the appointment of an experienced Non-Executive Director who can bring independence, fresh perspective, and sector insight.


Role Overview

This appointment offers an opportunity to play a vital part in shaping the company’s strategic future. As a Non-Executive Director, you will support and challenge the leadership team, ensuring effective governance, sound decision-making, and a strong framework for sustainable growth.


Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide impartial advice and independent challenge to the executive team.

  • Contribute to shaping the company’s strategic direction and growth plans.

  • Monitor financial performance, investment decisions, and risk management.

  • Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, regulation, and best practice.

  • Support decision-making on property acquisitions, development projects, and funding opportunities.

  • Champion high standards of transparency, ethics, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Act as a sounding board on sector-specific issues such as planning, financing, and ESG.

Qualifications

Candidate Profile

Essential

  • Strong leadership background within the property or real estate sector.

  • Proven ability to operate at board level, offering strategic insight and independent judgment.

  • Understanding of finance, governance, and commercial risk.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.

  • Integrity, independence, and a collaborative approach.

Desirable

  • Previous board or non-executive experience.

  • In-depth knowledge of the London property market and its regulatory environment.

  • Awareness of sustainability and ESG priorities within the built environment.

  • Experience with investment partners, fundraising, or joint ventures.


Commitment & Reward

  • Expected contribution: 1–2 days per month, including board meetings, committee duties, and preparation.

  • Annual fee package, competitive within the market.

  • The post is advisory and non-operational; you will not be involved in daily management.
