Commitment: Approx. 2 days per month
Remuneration: £32,000 per annum

Our mission is to make global payments faster, more affordable, and more transparent for individuals and businesses. As we continue to expand our footprint and strengthen our governance, we are seeking a Non-Executive Director (NED) to join our Board and contribute to our long-term success.


Role Overview

The Non-Executive Director will play a key role in providing independent oversight, constructive challenge, and strategic guidance to the executive leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic fintech business, helping to shape strategy, strengthen governance, and ensure we deliver value to our customers and stakeholders.


Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide independent judgment and challenge to the executive team on strategic, financial, and operational decisions.

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the company’s long-term strategy.

  • Ensure effective governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks are in place.

  • Monitor financial performance and ensure sustainable growth.

  • Act as a sounding board and mentor for senior leadership.

  • Bring external perspectives on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in fintech and payments.

  • Represent the interests of shareholders, customers, and other key stakeholders.

Qualifications

Skills & Experience

  • Prior experience as a Non-Executive Director, Board Advisor, or senior executive in fintech, financial services, payments, or technology.

  • Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within the UK financial services sector (FCA experience desirable).

  • Proven track record of contributing to business growth and transformation.

  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyse and challenge reports and plans.

  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build constructive relationships at board and executive level.

  • Integrity, independence, and sound judgment.

  • Attendance at scheduled Board meetings and strategy sessions (approx. 2 days per month).

  • Availability for ad-hoc consultation as required.


Remuneration

  • £32,000 per annum, paid quarterly in arrears.
