10 June 2025 — FD Capital Launches NED Capital to Revolutionise Non-Executive Director Recruitment Across the UK

FD Capital announced the launch of NED Capital, a dedicated brand for the recruitment of non-executive directors for UK companies. The release explained that the new firm would serve organisations ranging from SMEs and private equity-backed businesses to listed companies and not-for-profit organisations, drawing on the FD Capital network of senior finance professionals and business leaders.

The services set out at launch were NED search and recruitment, board advisory support, interim non-executive appointments and support for executives moving into a portfolio of board roles. The release also set out a commitment to broadening the pool of board candidates, and to recruiting directors with experience in areas such as sustainability, ethics, artificial intelligence, cyber security and data, themes we continue to cover in our ESG board chair and technology and digital NED work.

In the release, Adrian Lawrence said: “NEDs today are more than just advisors – they are catalysts for transformation.”

9 August 2025 — NED Capital Unveils Redesigned Website to Elevate Non-Executive Recruitment in the UK

NED Capital announced the launch of its redesigned website. The release described clearer sections for client services, candidate resources and industry insights; a dedicated board jobs page where candidates can apply for roles or register for future opportunities; an expanding library of articles on corporate governance, ESG, board diversity and other board-level issues; and a streamlined candidate registration process.

The release described the two audiences the site serves: organisations recruiting independent leaders for governance, growth, transformation or IPO readiness, and experienced executives looking to take on or expand a portfolio of non-executive roles. Those sections live on today in our board roles page, our candidate registration page and our blog.

Adrian Lawrence said: “Boards today need more than oversight — they require strategic vision, operational expertise, and diverse perspectives to navigate a fast-changing environment. Our new website has been designed to make it easier for companies to identify the talent they need, and for talented executives to find roles where they can make a meaningful impact.”
