Adrian Lawrence meets with the Chair or CEO personally to understand the board’s composition, the governance challenge, and the specific experience, sector background and behavioural profile required. Every brief is written from a direct conversation — not a form.

We search our network and conduct direct outreach to identify candidates who match the brief — assessing not just career history but governance understanding, cultural fit, boardroom communication style, and strategic alignment with the organisation’s stage and objectives.

3. Shortlist & Appointment

We present a concise shortlist of fully referenced candidates, each briefed on your business before introduction. We support the selection process through to appointment — including offer negotiation, letter of appointment, and post-appointment induction support where required.
